I am a new player. Can anyone give me some tips? Also, can you make me a custom card on here? I want it to be a red/black mana card that is a dragon, and after seeing all of these cards, I have not seen one red/black requirement card. If you could make this Red/black card cost 6 mana plus the requirement, that would be great. Also, If it had a cool effect, like destroying cards to gain Ap/Hp, it would be cool too. You can call this card…. Eruption Dragon…. or Tarrasque

If you donate the art, I can make a card. Art costs money which is one of the main costs of creating new cards.

I had multicolor cards in the past, but replaced them with single color cards because I’d rather see more single color cards that are useful in many decks, than multicolor cards that are only used in a few decks.

Also, some tips.

Deckbuilding tips - have a strategy with your deck, like “win early game with small, cheap allies” or “win late game by control/board wiping” or “combo with these three cards” Don’t just put a lot of cards together because you like them, but find cards that work well together. Also, I find it useful to know how much energy your deck will need. I have decks that will only discard 3 cards for energy, for instance. (This is exceptionally rare - most decks will discard much more) But if you build a deck that targets only discarding 5 energy, then know that you can only play with cards that cost 5 or less.

Playing tips - discard cards you are unlikely to need (either due to the match up or because you have other similar cards in your hand) Relatedly, if you check what cards your opponent is discarding, you might be able to infer what they have left in their hand. (This is controversial, I know other people don’t necessarily believe this, but I think it is true that what you discard is a tell for what you have left in your hand) The game is very much about card advantage, meaning if you use one card to destroy three cards, or use one card to draw three cards, you end up with a two card advantage on the play. Card advantage is worth taking a little bit of damage to earn/protect. For example, you might let some ally deal 2 damage to you, rather than defend against it with another ally of your own. At the end of the game, you either won or lost, and if you win it doesn’t matter whether you took that 2 damage or not.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a dual type card either. I actually might be able to help with the art.

You can actually make multicolor cards by forging, but you may not want to do that if you do not have many cards as it will consume the cards that you forge.

Also, I’m stuck on a trial on Orbs, the one on multicolor decks, and it doesn’t let me have a starting hand and the computer always has one. what do I do?

I have the same issue with Missions too. Some of the cards in missions are blank and offer 1 colorless mana when converted. Moreover, I start WITHOUT a starting hand while the AI starts with a full hand. It seems that the code of the missions is broken. :P

That said, pretty cool game, keep up the great work, Pickhardt!

Oh, that’s probably a bug from the recent changes. I will look into it this weekend.
